EXIF (Exchangeable Image File) - the format used by most digital cameras to store metadata, i.e. the settings and statistics of each image at the moment of capture.

Focus - Maximum clarity or distinctness of an image rendered by an optical system.

Welcome to ExiFocus. As the name suggests (depending upon your familiarity) this gallery is dedicated to digital photography. Its purpose is simple: Showcase the work I have done in the digital medium in one concise location. Some of you may have visited my full gallery located at Pixelision. This site differs from Pixelision in that ExiFocus contains only the top photos I have taken. I will continue to upload the majority of images to Pixelision in case you are interested in viewing the complete photo shoots.

The ulterior motive for ExiFocus is to begin to define my work in the photographic realm. Until this point I have just randomly posted shots around the internet for people to see, but I have never actually collected all of the best that I had taken and displayed them in an easy to use format. ExiFocus will be that display format. Since the digital world allows for digital display, this is my gallery.

Bit of an update: I recently switched from Nikon to Canon in preference of the Canon 5D Mark II. I'm slowly but surely getting comfortable with the new camera (and completely new control scheme and ergonomics). I've just picked up a Sigma 150mm f/2.8 Macro as well as the Canon 70-200 f/4 L IS USM. Hopefully we'll have some new macro shots up here in the coming weeks!
